An elegant 1970s Italian tea set from the Gresline line, designed by Ambrogio Pozzi (1931–2012) for Ceramica Franco Pozzi.
The set consists of six cups, a teapot, and a milk jug, all characterized by the essential, geometric, and functional language typical of mid-century Italian design. The ceramic features a refined ivory white hue, a delicate horizontal texture, and thin dark borders that emphasize the shapes and give the whole a graphic, contemporary look.
The teapot is distinguished by its cylindrical body, simple spout, and large, arched metal handle. The cups and milk jug reflect the same formal vocabulary through simple volumes, balanced proportions, and small cylindrical handles.
Each piece is signed Gresline / Ceramica Franco Pozzi Gallarate Italy on the base, an important detail for identifying and making the set collectible.
A refined example of 1970s Italian ceramics, ideal for collectors of Ambrogio Pozzi, Franco Pozzi, Mid-Century Modern tableware, and 20th-century Italian design.
The set includes: six cups, a teapot, and a milk jug.
Dimensions:
Cups and milk jug: 11 cm wide x 8 cm deep x 6 cm high.
