Item description
Beautiful pair of bedside tables of Piedmontese manufacture in solid walnut, Louis Philippe style and era, second half 19th century, finished in the round. The peculiarity of this model is the high band, with a drawer in front, with the white Carrara Marble top with a walnut "railing" that delimits it for 3/4. This top part rests through 4 columns (which makes it look like a riser) on the low body that has a door that closes a compartment with a shelf and rests on the ground through 4 feet turned in the same way of the above. The openings of the two doors, one on the right and one on the left, denote that this is a real pair. The state of preservation is excellent since they were recently restored, with the doors slightly curved and marble not broken and not chipped with inevitable signs of time. Height table tops cm. 59 and 90.
