Item description

Italian painting from the second half of the 20th century. Oil on canvas painting depicting The Allegory of Sculpture with Putti with a good pictorial hand. Painting depicting several putti intent on carving a graceful sleeping winged putto in marble (see photo). Beautifully decorated lacquered and painted wooden frame. A painting of great dynamism, rich in decorative elements and good luminosity. Painting signed in the lower left corner by Tomei (see photo) without additional documentation, under study. Work of good size and pleasant decoration for antique dealers and interior decorators. In good condition with some small signs of time. Light painting H 88 x W 59 cm.
