Louis XVI style chest of drawers in precious woods, 18th century
Lombardy-Veneto chest of drawers from the Louis XVI period, entirely panelled and inlaid in precious woods, handles and bronze vents. The top and two fronts bear medallions with mythological figures inside, while the front is characterised by a dense inlay of racemes and flowers ending with griffin heads. Mouthpieces, templates and circular handles are in finely chiselled bronze. Condition: Unrestored. Provenance: 18th century Lombardy. Measurements: 118x53 H88cm.
