Item description
Important antique Baroque wardrobe from Piedmont (Turin area) with two doors framed by moulded panels with Baroque carved folders on the inside with double moulding. Majestic cap frame crowned with decorative shell motif. Sturdy, sculpted wavy foot. The door hinges are of wrought iron, concealed behind the pilasters. The interior, served by shelves, is elegantly upholstered with a red moiré fabric. Its maximum dimensions (hat frame) measure 200 x 80 x 254 cm high. Furniture in first patina of absolute cabinet-maker's craftsmanship as well as being rarely found on the antiques market.
