Item description
French Empire sideboard in mahogany feather with black Belgian marble top. The front is punctuated by four feathered columns ending in a finely chiselled gilded bronze base and capital. The undercounter fascia is characterised by a large central drawer and two side drawers embellished with finely chiselled gilded bronze elements. Four large doors characterise the main elevation and conceal solid oak shelves inside. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Provenance: 19th century France. Measurements: 215x60 H105cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
