Ernesto Bazzaro, Bedouin Maternity, bronze sculpture, 1905
The sculpture depicts a woman and her child on a camel. Entirely in bronze with a marble base where the artist's signature is visible. This work presents the main characteristics of the impressionist sculptor, it is a unique piece, perfect as a collector's item and to give a classic touch to your living room. Ernesto Bazzaro was a Milanese artist who trained at Brera from 1875. He was one of the leading Italian sculptors of the second half of the 19th century, close to Impressionism due to his haphazard training. He was also a master of Paolo Troubetzkoy. He realised numerous monumental sculptures for squares, such as the monument to Felice Cavallotti.
