The Ulvö model sideboard was designed in the 1960s by Erik Wörtz for Ikea. This sideboard was produced in Poland by Czerska Fabryka Mebli, most likely for the Polish market. In the 1960s, Ikea transferred part of its production to Polish factories that produced high quality furniture, but the cost of production was much lower than in Sweden or other Western European countries. This piece of furniture has a teak top, sides and front. The legs of the chest of drawers are made of solid oak. The sideboard was carefully and professionally restored by removing the old upholstery, staining and finishing with varnish.
