Item description
Walnut panelled Barocchetto ribalta, mid-18th century Lombardy. Stand with pair of side drawers, front with flap door concealing a scarab, three drawers and curved feet. Tripartite with three ebonised cornices, the cabinet is decorated with walnut-root reserves, maple fillets and cypress borders, the latter arranged to create a large heart-shaped scroll on the front. Spruce interior. Restorations and replacements in the cabinet; handles not contemporary.
