Item description

Transparent pressed glass SUN vase designed by Rudolf Jurnikl for Sklárna Libochovice (Czech Republic) in 1969. Its design has dynamic shapes and lively curves. In the 1970s Jurnikl used a floral design. An icon of his work is this vase, called SUN and then OSAKA, which was exhibited at the EXPO in Japan in 1970. It may have slight traces of use but can be considered in perfect original condition.
