Sicilian palm holder in lacquered and gilded wood with original floral composition, handcrafted in the late 19th century. It is in original condition with signs of use and age. It was used to decorate houses and small private chapels in wealthy homes in Southern Italy. This palm holder is a splendid testimony to the era, religiosity and traditions of Southern Italy.
