Pair of Parioli 8105 office chairs by Ennio Fazioli for MIM Roma
Stunning pair of "Parioli" office chairs model 8105 designed by Ennio Fazoli in 1960 and produced in the 1970s by the well-known Italian company MIM Mobili Italiani Moderni. The Parioli office armchairs have a load-bearing structure with curved rosewood plywood shells with high mechanical resistance to which moulded foam rubber upholstery is fixed. The upholstery is made of original fabric in excellent condition, it has a swivel die-cast aluminium base, while comfort is ensured by two pivot points, one between the base and seat, and one between the seat and back. The significant characteristics were solidity, agility, elasticity and lightness. Excellent overall condition, only a few small signs of time as shown in the photographs. These armchairs are often wrongly attributed to Ico and Luisa Parisi by both dealers and auction houses. Source Fazoli Archives: https://www.mim-design.it/prodotti/poltrona-parioli.html.
