Napoleon III oil painting on canvas depicting nymphs at the bath, made in France in the second half of the 19th century. The composition of the scene is constituted by the two half-naked women portrayed in open countryside. The two figures are well modeled, the brushwork is full-bodied, and the use of chiaroscuro creates volume and plasticity. The light illuminates the figures, creating areas of chiaroscuro with the surrounding vegetation. The canvas is embellished with a beautiful French wood frame gilded in gold leaf, coeval with the painting. Complete with certificate of authenticity.
