Oak bookcase from the early 1960s with storage compartment with two hinged doors and upper part divided into open compartments and display cabinet with sliding glass door.
Elegant oak bookcase designed by Marian Grabinsky for IKEA in the early 1960s. The structure is essential and well-proportioned: in the lower part a large compartment closed by two hinged doors, while at the top a play of open compartments interacts with a display cabinet with sliding glass door and recessed handle. The shaped legs lighten the profile and recall the sober and functional language typical of the Grabinsky series for IKEA. The warm grains of the oak give material depth and a refined Nordic tone.
Good condition. It may show some signs of aging. Please pay attention to the photographs.
