An exceptional Bauhaus table lamp, Model No. 81126, designed by Karl Trabert for G. Schanzenbach & Co., Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in the 1930s. This rare functionalist lamp represents early modern German industrial design, combining clarity of form with refined craftsmanship. The lamp features a sculptural black lacquered base, a polished aluminium adjustable arm, and a domed aluminium shade with cased glass diffuser. The design reflects Bauhaus principles with strong emphasis on function, balance, and material honesty. The lamp is documented in contemporary German design literature and factory catalogues of Schanzenbach & Co., confirming its historical and design significance.
