Pair of 1970s armchairs model Amanta by Mario Bellini, the armchairs were made by B&B Italia. Designed by Italian designer and architect Mario Bellini in 1966, his works are known worldwide and range from furniture to design objects. The Amanta model immediately established itself as a Cult of the Space Age period, made with a unique Fiberite shell. Amanta is a functional piece of furniture, what is particularly striking at first glance is the wide range of the shiny plastic membrane, Bellini has taken advantage of the fluid character of this material to create a sculptural form. An interesting feature is also the slit along the center back, added to increase strength without strengthening force. As are the spherical rubber feet which, maximize elasticity and lighten the overall look of the chair. The armchairs have been completely restored, upholstered in black hammered faux leather. Seat height cm 44.
