The piece is distinguished by the exceptional presence of four hand-painted polychrome porcelain inserts: a splendid reserve with a gallant scene at the base, a white-ground dial with floral motifs and Arabic numerals, two landscape-themed side columns, and a precious potiche (jar) above topped with a metal frieze. The mechanism is integrated inside, protected by a screw-down metal case back. In excellent vintage condition. A museum piece of exceptional decorative impact.
