An extremely rare and charming medallion wall clock (hanging) in the Eclectic/Napoleon III style, dating back to the late 19th century (circa 1880). The round case (15 x 15 cm) is crafted entirely from finely gilded metal and decorated with splendid bas-relief motifs. The metal dial features elegant workmanship with black Roman numerals set on white porcelain cartouches (tiles) and black hands. The piece's unique feature lies in its original suspension: a dark velvet fabric band connects the case to an ornate upper hook in gilded metal, designed for wall hanging.
