A sideboard of considerable proportions, produced by Dyrlund in Denmark in the 1960s, where the quality of construction and internal organization become an integral part of the design. The most distinctive detail is the rounded frame that runs the entire perimeter of the piece, connecting the top, sides, and bottom in a single, continuous profile. The extremely clean front is interrupted only by the two small wooden handles that open the large teak doors. Inside, the layout is particularly functional: two large side compartments with shelves are flanked by five central drawers, offering a variety of storage options. The cable management in the right compartment adds a practical solution for storing appliances, making the piece suitable not only for the dining room, but also for a living room or study. At 190 cm wide, the sideboard takes on a significant presence in the room, while the horizontal design and rounded profile maintain its balanced image. Teak, with its grain and warm hues, completes a typically Danish composition, where the richness of the material is enhanced by a precise construction free of superfluous elements. A significant example of Dyrlund's 1960s production, particularly noteworthy for the quality of its construction details and its ability to combine a strong architectural presence with an internal organization designed for everyday use.
