Item description
A classic mid-century Italian piece with a glossy lacquer finish, it is very rare to find a hand-painted bar cabinet. It was designed in the Fornasetti manner in the 1950s. At first glance, it is reminiscent of the Vittori Dassi wall units of the same period. This wall unit is made of lacquered walnut veneer, partly painted, and has brass details. The uprights are made of black varnished beech and are very well shaped. There are many storage options in this cabinet, but also some nice open areas to display vases and knick-knacks. The piece has minor flaws, and there are some small scratches, but it is fully functional, and you have to consider that it is over 60 years old and still in very good condition.
