Item description
Neoclassical bedside table made in the Emilian area in the last quarter of the 18th century. Inlaid wood structure and veneered in various woods, filleted in maple and stained green maple. Poplar and spruce interior. The top has a geometric shape with the heraldic crest of the Salimbeni or Salimei family (this last one descended from a branch of the former). Undertop band with bellflower meander; front fitted with drawer and door; sides and door decorated with leaf and phytomorphic elements within rectangular shapes.
