Item description

Work depicting a still life with fruit with a silver jug in the centre. A number of technical features can be seen in the work, including the wide range of colours that are incorporated in the play of transparencies, giving rise to chiaroscuro and reflections. The artist contrasts the shadowy world of the time with luminosity and chromatic innovations, alternating with stylistic and chromatic virtuosity and interlacing. Very good condition. Provenance: 17th century Holland. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
