Item description

This ceramic figurine was produced in the 1950s by F. Pexider & Co., a noted fireclay stove and ceramics manufacturer in Letovice. The piece represents a young boy holding a toy airplane, a motif typical of postwar Czech decorative sculpture. Made of glazed ceramics, the statuette remains in undamaged, well-preserved condition. The surface shows the characteristic finish of mid-century Czech ceramic production, with subtle age-appropriate patina.
