Item description

Description: Pair of carved wooden shelves with a strong vertical development characterized by a rich decoration with phytomorphic motifs. The main body is composed of curly volutes and overlapping acanthus leaves treated with a dynamic pattern and deep undercut. The upper part has a shaped top with multiple moldings and a frieze with stylized serrations. The composition is asymmetric but balanced with a sinuous flow typical of the baroque decorative language. Conditions: Excellent condition. Provenance: Florence 19th century. Measurements: 45x30 H55cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
