Item description

Structure: Two lateral uprights in the shape of Egyptian caryatids support the circular case. The figures rest on quadrangular bases decorated with human feet, a detail typical of the most sought-after neoclassical taste. Cimasa: The summit is crowned by a majestic eagle with outstretched wings, a symbol of power and nobility. Decorations: The uprights are enriched with top pine cones, fruit festoons and acanthus leaves. The elliptical base features a bas-relief frieze with swans drinking from a fountain, enclosed within floral scrolls. Pendulum: The lenticular pendulum is finely perforated and decorated with swan-head and palmette motifs.
