Scandinavian oak archive cabinet from 1963, produced by the S.K.N. company, as indicated by the original brand on the back of the cabinet. It is designed with a vertical sliding shutter closure, equipped with a lock, which lifts up and re-enters the upper part of the structure. Inside there is a dense series of mobile shelves and compartments, designed for the orderly storage of documents. The structure, tall and compact, rests on thin, slightly tapered legs, a typical element of the Scandinavian design of the 1960s which visually lightens the volume of the furniture. The oak workmanship and careful construction reflect the Nordic tradition of functional, solid and well-proportioned furniture.
