Item description

Taraxacum is a suspension lamp, providing direct and reflected light, with large dimensions. Achille Castiglioni's project is inspired by the dandelion flower, the globe dense with transparent stamens, loosely joined to the core, ready to fly away at the first gust of wind. Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in 1960, Taraxacum was an absolutely original revolutionary chandelier. The lamp is composed of a structure of polished aluminum triangles entirely covered with transparent bulbs, which provide abundant light which is also reflected on the structure. Suspension luminaire providing direct and reflected light with 60 clear Globolux bulbs around the structure. Ceiling attachment and steel rosette.
