Item description

Antique oil on canvas painting depicting a portrait of a noblewoman with a pearl necklace. The woman is depicted dressed in the clothes of the time and combed according to the fashion of the time. The pose is plastic and is captured in the moment in which she holds the necklace. The splendid workmanship and refined colouring, evidently of the highest level, suggest attribution to a highly talented artist working in London in the first quarter of the 18th century. Frame not contemporary, excellent condition. Measurements: 125 x 160 cm. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. We are at your disposal for further clarifications or photographic details.
