Collectible perfume bottle made by the French glassworks Lalique, 1940s-50s. It contained the perfume "L'air du Temps", launched on the market in 1949 by the fashion house Nina Ricci. Created on October 23, 1947 by nose Francis Fabron of Roure, L'Air du Temps is considered a classic feminine floral perfume. The bottle is made of transparent glass worked in a torchon pattern, while the stopper, made of classic Lalique frosted glass, depicts two doves kissing. At the base it features the engraved Lalique signature. This is the largest version of the bottles made for the perfume. The Lalique glassworks was founded in the late 19th century by René Lalique and is still one of the most famous French luxury brands in the world today. The bottle, as can be seen from the photos, has a small break on the neck that becomes virtually invisible once the cap is put on, as the doves go to cover it; otherwise it is in good condition.
