Item description

Description: Napoleon III extendable oval table in fine exotic wood belonging to the second half of the 19th century. The oval-shaped top features a herringbone inlay and is joined in the center with a contrasting medallion. The band under the top is enriched by the presence of finely chiseled gilded bronze elements. The feet have the classic truncated pyramid shape ending with a gilded bronze shoe. Through a system of guides it is possible to stretch it by tear, reaching a length of 290cm. General Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional shellac and handmade alcohol method. Provenance: France second half of the 19th century. Measurements: 140x110 H76cm +3 50cm extensions. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
