Tabernacle in gilded and carved wood, 17th century
Roman tabernacle in gilded and carved wood belonging to the early 17th century. The front is characterised by a false door surmounted by a large cymatium enclosed between two fluted columns ending with winged putti. On the sides, two clustered pilasters enclose a space with a marbled effect. The beauty of this splendid artefact lies in its integrity and above all in its originality, in fact it does not show any alterations. Condition: Unrestored in first patina.
