Pair of reverse glass paintings, on a convex glass surface, depicting landscapes with figures, 19th century. The two oval paintings show landscapes animated by popular figurines engaged in different activities: in one the setting is mountainous, with small chalets by the stream and under rocky peaks; in the other, however, at night, a placid river flows near wooded banks, illuminated by the full moon. The paintings are presented in coeval gilded frames, in need to be restored due to defects. Size without frame: 40 x 50 cm.
