Vase dated on the bottom 1939, handmade in Santo Stefano di Camastra in Sicily, a small Sicilian town famous for its artisanal ceramics. Gio Ponti designed tile decorations for the manufacturers of Santo Stefano. This superb hand-painted vase is inspired by the decorations and shapes of the famous Italian designer with a touch of Sicilian tradition. The dominant colors of the vase are green and gold.
