A splendid Barovier & Toso chandelier from the 1940s, an Art Deco work of art of extraordinary beauty. Made using traditional glassblowing techniques, this chandelier is the result of the mastery of Murano glassmakers, giving Murano glass its unmistakable transparency. The particular technique used in its creation makes this chandelier truly unique. The cups and the central structure, including the ceiling cup, have been skilfully worked in 'Bullicante' glass (Venetian slang definition), a distinctive style typical of Barovier chandeliers from the early 1900s. The large bowls are supported by six long arms finely crafted in 'Torchon' (Venetian slang) glass. Twelve leaves, six pointing upwards and six curved downwards, further enrich this beautiful chandelier. Despite its many years of life, this rare chandelier has a timeless contemporary design that makes it perfect for both contemporary and classic settings.
