Antique sculpture in burnished bronze depicting two women in a joyful attitude. This magnificent sculptural group presents two young maidens as they embrace and rest on a lawn. The type of clothing and the basket with flowers denote their peasant origin. The sculpture stands on a magnificent round base of black portoro marble. France 19th century.
