Item description

Lounge armchair in stained beech and green velvet, made in Denmark in the 1950s. This archetypal 1950s wingback armchair is extremely comfortable and pleasing to the eye. This armchair with stained beech legs has a modest wing and a buttoned back. The seat is thick and the armrests are rounded. The sides are smooth and soft. The feet are small and slightly tapered and the back legs are slightly diagonal to create the perfect angle for seating comfort. With its soft edges, sloping shapes and upholstery, this is truly a mid-century Danish armchair. This armchair is a true classic, a comfortable chair that fits perfectly in a cosy corner.
