Large Italian painting dated 1988. Oil on canvas painting depicting expressionist subject of surrealist character with a good painterly hand. Painting of great size and strong visual impact characterized by strong colours. Interesting is the setting chosen by the painter in placing the two arms clinging to a red cloth at the sides, while light and darkness collide at the top and bottom (see photo). Painting with a signature, title and date on the reverse (see photo, under study). Painting in good condition with some minor signs of time.
