Sculpture of a fisherman in polychrome terracotta, 19th century
Antique polychrome terracotta sculpture depicting a fisherman. The plastic pose of the young fisherman is given by the feet resting on a rock and by the baskets carried both in the hand and on the shoulders. The sculptural finesse together with the choice of colour make a clear reference to the Neapolitan culture of the second half of the 19th century. Provenance: Naples 19th century.
