Silver and glass oil cruet, first half of the 19th century
Oil cruet made in The Kingdom of Lombardy–Venetia in the first half of the 19th century. Finely engraved and openwork silver structure with decorations of meanders, torchons and mascarons. Supported by four ferine-shaped feet and characterized by a top handle with mirrored swans. Beveled glass cruets. Engraved silver marks with initials "B.Z.", probably silversmith's initials. 675 grams.
