Pair of solid beech armchairs by M. Grabiński, 1960s
This pair of armchairs was designed in the 1960s by the Polish designer Marian Grabiński, who at that time designed furniture for, among others, Ikea, which represents an extraordinary appreciation for the work of this designer from a country behind the curtain of iron. The structure of the armchair is made of solid beech wood and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coverings, American walnut coloring and finishing with varnish. The cushions have been redone and covered with a beige fabric composed of a mix of linen, cotton and viscose, whose texture recalls the materials originally used in the 1960s.
