Solid walnut canter with walnut-root mouldings, 17th century
Solid walnut chest of drawers. Front with three drawers with walnut-root mouldings in a mixtilinear form threaded with boxwood. The chains are carved in wood with acanthus leaf motifs and the underside has a notched motif. On the sides are two pilasters with carved putti projecting from the edge of the cabinet, a typical feature of Bergamo cabinet-making of the period. Inverted bracket feet and top with owl's beak profile. Bronze knobs. Bergamo, 17th century. Dimensions: 143 x 60 cm, height 91 cm. We issue a regular certificate of authenticity with photo.
