Impressive mid-century Italian floor-to-ceiling bookcase, produced in the 1960s, with a total height of 267 to 385 cm. It closely resembles the style of Franco Albini's design for Poggi from the same period. The wooden frame is veneered in teak, also on the back, making it a perfect room divider. The bookcase is pressure-mounted between the floor and the ceiling and its total height is adjustable every 10 cm. However, it can be adjusted to fit any room height between 267 and 385 cm (which fits most contemporary interiors, even very high lofts). It has adjustable brass feet to ensure stability on uneven floors. It features two cabinets, one with drop-down doors with sculptural solid teak handles and 11 shelves with geometric sides. It is a standout feature for any mid-century modern space. Detailed dimensions: 11 shelves 26 cm deep;
one cabinet H: 45 / W: 78 / D: 41 cm; one bar cabinet H: 45 / W: 78 / D: 41 cm; 4 rails with adjustable brass feet of 260 cm, each with 110 cm extension, height adjustable up to 385 cm.
The wall unit is preserved in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age and use.
